I’m pleased to announce that the first Erik XVI vinyl outing is in the shops today. It features the original version of Unionens sista dagar, plus three cracking remixes from fellow London producers Brassica, Ali Renault and Hot City. Brassica’s version is a complete reworking of the track, Ali’s going for a wonky, atmospheric feel and Hot City delivers his trademark banging business.
There is also a digital-only remix package with further versions, all 7 of them in total. In addition to the ones on the vinyl, there’s deep techno from TVO, some abstract garage from Spatial, sci-fi dubstep from Gravious and cut-up electro from Bill Ambrose.
Take your pick!
